help!

this is to ask if any one out there can help me?

i have 2 questions for the title to two songs:

the 1st is from the 60's. it's about a boy + girl, they need money,(for wedding?) the boy goes into a race, but dies during it!

the next is a man singing about his life, his son's asking him to spend time with him + play, but the father tells him that he's too busy, but he'll find time to play with him, then after, he says he finds time to play with his son, but the son's grown up now + ask his father for the car, the father tells him he's got time to spend with hm now, bu the son turns round + tells his father he's too busy now, but he'll find time soon to spend with him.

i hope this is enough information for some one to help, it's driving me mad, the titles are on the tip of my tongue.
