I was wondering if anyone knew who was playing this year at the VFestival? I have never been but always fancied it. Do people who've been recommend it? Also roughly how much do tickets cost?

I am sure Radiohead may be headlining. I went in 2004. Its a great atmosphere but once you've been you need to go onto bigger and better and go to Glastonbury its about 10 times the size. Once you've walked round V its done where as Glasto you're there for 3-5 days and still dont manage to see everything. Tickets may well be sold out and I'm not too sure how much they were bout 80 then I think. If you've never been to a festival before this is the one to start with.

The site I used when I went which updates as bands are signed up is http://www.vfestival.com/vfestival/pages/index.cfm and tickets go on sale in March :-)

Its been said about 10 times that radiohead are not playing, as far as I know The Who, New Order, Keane, Kasabian and Starsailor said they were when I saw them last.

Tickets will be at least 120 quid

Living within a few miles of Glastonbury I have been every year bar 2 since I was 14, its taking a rapid decline down and been taken over by the most god awful people. V is great but quite corporate, lovely atmosphere but my suspicions lead me to believe that the isle of white is the one to watch.
