Martin Degville left Sigue Sigue Sputnik in advance of the implosion of that special blend of hype and mystique, and a planned solo career never really took off.
If you believe their publicity of the time, the band were 'ahead of their time', and adhering to that premise, Tony James and co. are giving the fame game another shot, as we speak.
No firm details yet, but the notion of fame and fortune for this band was always a nebulous concept - firm information on material and output is awaited.

Sigue Sigue Sputnik are indeed back on tour. The only original members are Degville, James and guitarist Neal X. The band are refusing to give interviews to 'terrestrial' media, whatever that means.

I reckon the Name "Sigue Sigue Sputnik is one of the most fantastic names for a band I've ever heard>  Along with "A flock of Seagulls"  You never hear of names like that now.  IE:  Hoobastank???  What the hell?
