Color(s)???

I heard a song played on Terry Wogan's show some months back with the title "Colour" or "Colours" by, I think, an American country-style group, but now I want to remember the bands name my mind is totally blank aargh!!! Can anybody fill in the spaces in my memory? Will be eternally grateful, as it could well stop me going insane :-)

No, I'm sure it wasn't either of those. Thanks for trying though.

I believe the group comprised of either all girls or 2/3 girls and a couple of men.

The song is fairly short- about 3 minutes and the lead vocal is definitely female.

It wasn't "True Colours" by Cindi Lauper was it?

I think there was a line in the song to do with water and sand if thats any help
