Is there a database for pubs needing bands ?

It's unlikely - bands always need gigs more than venues need bands, so they don't need to advertise, bands approach pubs with no prompting what so ever. The best thing is to have a chat with any local pubs that present live bands, and ask them if they know of any others, and gradually expand the area you cover. The only other way is to obtain copies of Yellow Pages for the areas you can get to, and let your fingers do the proverbial walking,
