Don't see anything wrong with Beverley Knight myself. I'm not keen on cover versions generally (don't see the point, artistically speaking), but her version of the Erma Franklin song is OK in my book. Not great, but OK. I like the fact that although she's predominantly a soul singer, she doesn't restrict herself to that genre. There are plenty of chart acts far more irritating than Ms Knight, IMHO.

Best of is out on monday - was listening to it today at work and had to chuckle as 'Angels'is on it (yes the Robbie track) I wasn't aware that it was one of her songs hehehehehe
