Manic Street Preachers, The Holy Bible
Can anyone tell me where the spoken word samples that are used at the beginning of some tracks on the Manic Street Preachers' 1994 album The Holy Bible come from? There are quotes at the beginning of the following tracks: Yes; Ifwhiteamerica...; Of Walking Abortion; Archives Of Pain; 4st 7lb; Faster; and The Intense Humming Of Evil.

I knew two of the samples myself, but i can link you to a page where you can read the rest for yourself. The ones i knew? Archives of Pain, the sample "I wonder who you think you are..." - was said by the mother of one of the Yorkshire Ripper's victims. (Peter Sutcliffe). I also knew the beginning of "Faster", the sample "I hate purity..." was taken from the film "1984" based on the book by George Orwell. The line was spoken by Winston Smith, played in the film by John Hurt. For the rest, you'll have to go here: http://www1.tip.nl/~t892660/msp/samples.htm
It lists all the samples the Manics have ever used. Enjoy!
