Though it's not Thunderclap Newman's version that's on the current ads. I think the sponsorship stings they have on ITV mystery dramas still use the original, though only a brief snatch of the instrumental intro.

Thunderclap New man as I recall was a band made up from The Herd and someone else, was it Traffic?
