Nerina Pallot

Hey people. Just got the latest Nerina Pallot album (Fires). Anyone else got it, and what did you think of it? Has anyone got her first album as well?

I love 'Fires' had it for quite a few months after seeing Nerina support Suzanne Vega on tour. It's an album I really never get tired of and I'm surprised people haven't caught onto it sooner. Not sure about the first album, I downloaded one of the songs from it and it wasn't great.

I have and really like both Fires and her debut, Dear Frustrated Superstar. I think she's a very talented singer-songwriter, certainly several cuts above the likes of Dido (yawn).

it's great.....bought it a couples of weeks ago in Tesco purely because i love the single and rather than pay �4 or whatever they cost these days i took a chance on �6 and bought whole the album instead. Wise move.

Cheers everyone. I first came across her in 2003 when she was a guest vocalist on Delerium's album Chimera. Great sound that added to the Delerium feel.

Yes I have it, love it, we were trying to think who to liken her to, husband and daughter thought Sheryl Crow/Lisa Loeb. Thanks CT, knew I'd heard her before (Delerium), but couldn't place her. I'm loving Corrine Baley-Rae, Jack Johnson too.
