Someone told me that Dr. Hook has a song about necrophelia. Lookin for the dead ones..was part of the lyrics. Has anyone out there heard of it?

your source was nearly there. The song is called "Freaker's Ball", written by Shel Silverstein and recorded by Dr Hook & The Medicine Show. The song contains the line "Necrophiliacs lookin' for dead ones" as part of a montage of all sorts of strange goings-on at the freaker's ball.
