metal band..who are they?

Back in the day when Noisy Mothers was on tv, I saw a band play a song on a beach somewhere. Don't know the name of the band or the song! Part of the lyrics were 'Eyes cold as ice, Stearing into vacancy, Chasing shadows from within......As for my fear, I call your name once again........... Save me from solitude' That's about all I can remember. I'm fairly sure the lead singer had a lispe, or speach impedament. At the time of the video, I'm sure the lead singer had dark curly hair! I could be wrong though. Can anyone help with the band name or song title? Cheers.
