arthur brown's fire was from the sixties (1968). the "fire" from the seventies (1979, different song) was by the pointer sisters. Another "fire" from the eighties (1981, different song) was by U2.

i guessed he wanted the Arthur Brown one. Hendrix also did a song called Fire, not sure if it was 60s or 70s and can't be arsed looking, frankly

Of course, if this is a quiz question then it could be a trick, and the question-setter is looking for Pointer Sisters but hoping people will fall into the trap of saying Crazy World Of Arthur Brown. IIRC, the Pointer Sisters song was actually written by Bruce Springsteen. Not especially relevant to the question but vaguely interesting, don't you think?
