Bohemian Rhapsody was the first rock video as we know them so anyone before then will be on your list

And I'm sure there have been plenty since, too. A lock of rock bands start out on small labels, pressing 500 copies or whatever of singles, and don't bother making videos because it's not worth it at that level.

If Bohemian Rhapsody was the first rock video then what was the little film that acommpanied Strawberry Fields Forever by the Beatles?
Was i tripping when i saw it?
Dont know where this idea comes from - bands had been doing it for years before blooming Queen!

To answer your question huffy (or not as the case maybe) there are loads of bands who havent made videos - can you not be more specific?

Gary, even before the strawberry fields video, the beatles made one for paperback writer where they were lounging about the park playing the instruments. I think the difference between these videos is that they were created more to appease fans when the beatles couldn't make it to their country, or when they stopped touring. I don't think their aim was to promote additional sales, but in my opinion they were still music videos. I also remember seeing a great video for see emily play by Pink Floyd. So I agree that videos had been around long before Queen.
