Can anyone help. I'm trying to remember the guy with the Italian name who played on Peter Framptons - Won't you show me the way.

The hit/ famous version is on the LP Frampton Comes Alive, which featured PF along with Bob Mayo (keyboards), Stanley Sheldon (bass,guitar) and John Siomos (drums). Incidentally, Cameron Crowe (now film director) wrote the sleeve notes. The only Italian names on the credits appear to be two assistant engineers - Jay Messina and Frankie d'Augusta [source: http://www.marcogiunco.com/dischi/000524.htm ]. Other musicians who played with him around that time include Mickey Gallagher (later in the Blockheads), Rick Wills (Bad Company) and Mike Kellie (the unbelievably brilliant Only Ones).
