download sites

anyone know a good download site that i dont hav 2 pay 2 subscribe 2. there's a few house tunes i need but i dont necessarily want the whole album. im already on itunes so i dont reali want to pay a monthly subscription to another site, but some songs i want aint available on itunes :(

ive put the names down incase anyone else has them, cuz some sites ive checked dont recognise them

Have you tried (LimeWire) i get all my music from there for free, even new releases sometimes white labels & promos. Just search for LimeWire and download the software good luck

Hi bratzdoll,

Yes persuader is correct in telling you about the benefits of file-sharing programs like Limewire (ie free and lots of content). But before you go and download it please let me tell you about the negative points too.

Firstly these types of programs can be very slow, especially when you're waiting for a download slot. Sometimes you download half a song, then it suddenly stops and you may have to wait a while for it to resume. Also a number of these programs unload unwanted spyware/software/adware on to your PC which can be irritating to say the least. Limewire now claims not to do this but I've had files I don't need loaded on to my computer in the past when I've been using it so I'm not 100% convinced as yet.

But as long as you're prepared to put up with the above, its as good as you're going to get for free.
