Just saw her on MTV today - some making of... thing. She said, of her songs, that 'I'm the writer, I write all my songs. Well, I'm the co-writer [silence] but I don't think that matters. You can tell I write them because you can tell it's my words in the songs.' Or words to those effects. Difficult to say if she's manufactured, but it's quite telling that she boasts that she co-writes her songs. Surely if she was in a 'real' band the question of who writes the songs wouldn't pop up? But that Complicated song was ridiculously catchy...
