No-one was with him when he died , according to reports. Michael Hutchence had been dining with his father that fateful evening and later met up with his ex girlfriend Kym Wilson and her boyfriend Christopher Stollery. Although they were in his hotel room , they left him alone in the early hours and he was supposed to have called up another ex - Michelle Bennett to talk on the phone. He was supposed to have been depressed at the ongoing custody battle between Paula Yates and Bob Geldof for their children and there have been various theories about how he died - erotic game which went wrong , suicide etc but the coroner ruled the death as suicide. He died alone.
