I have started to train for a 10K in Sept and was wondering if anyone can suggest any dance CDs to put on my ipod? With it being summer there are so many compilations out there so not sure where to start? I cant use itunes as it is a work laptop and I am blocked ;o) THX

I'm told by a keen runner friend of mine that the best music to listen to is rock - the beat is just right tempo for keeping up a good pace, he reckons AC/DC are the best for keeping his pace going !!!
off the top of my head...

'Saturday Night Lotion' - Plump DJ's
'Leftism' - Leftfield
'Music For The Jilted Generation' - The Prodigy
'Storm Reaction' - Space Buddha

Any 'Fabric Live' compilation/or those dead cheap Psy-trance CD's you can buy on Camden Market!
you've got to have 'Keep on running' by the Spencer Davies Group ;)
right

this is what I like to drive fast to and may work for you whilst you are running

Born slippy - underworld
Hey boy, hey girl - chemical brothers
Mr Brightside - Killers
Final Countdown

There's only one - WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;o)
I'd really recommend a new CD called 'Manumission - Ibiza Classics Collection'. It gets me going faster when I'm busy, and it's not full of obscure dance music.
