Rainbow - Who sang 'Bye Bye Baby Goodbye'?

Richie Blackmore's Rainbow is accredited with the song 'Bye Bye Baby Goodbye', but who is the female singer who performs the song? I've searched the net now for days on the subject without any success. Does anyone out there know the answer? It's a very simple love song but it certainly hits the spot!

I'm not sure about the female version I have I think it must be Bente' Boe because the version I have doesn't sound like Vibeke & Jan Erik Fillan here is a link for that version http://www.busk.no/ebiz/singbacks.html

The version on your link is in Norwegian, but the voice sounds similar to the english version.

Okay final answer. The male version is "Rainbow med Lars Kristoffersen" http://www.tylden.no/manus/gta8303.htm (Which I believe is Rainbow (N) Norway) There is no connection with Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow, also Ritchie Blackmore never played lead guitar for any Bye Bye Baby Goodbye recordings for anyone. The female version that is going around,or at least the one I have is "Vibeke og Jan Erik Fillan" http://www.busk.no/ebiz/singbacks.html

Also the song was written by Rune & Sundby

The female version that I have on mp3 is a Norwegian artist from the 80's, Jannicke.

It's in Norwegian, but the voice is spot on.

I just downloaded that version 2 minutes ago. The only one I can't seem to find is Bente' Boe's version that was on her cross the river album. She does more country stuff so I wonder if her version sounds abit country
