Lennon Alive?

Has anybody else heard the rumour that John Lennon is not actually dead but his vegetablised body is in a monastery in France? Just wondering if anyone else knew anything about this?!

I've not heard it - I'm only surprised that this is the only one! Romanticism and the Net are a lethal combination in these areas - I am sure that poor John is gone, cremated, and remembered the world over as someone who really did make a difference, but 'living' in France? What drugs are these people taking!!!

He must be alive.....He posted an answer on the site just the other day!...and i think Andy is right it's just suprising there aren't more rumours about him.....No i'm afraid that he's jamming with George somewhere with Keith Moon on drums.

Damn it, you found me. I was quite happy here with my laptop so I can access Answerbank and life in the monastry was great - now I'll have to relocate!! Oh well, really I'm just trying to keep away from Yoko! :)

Seriously though, I am a huge fan of Lennon (hence the username) and I know shed loads about his life and death, but I've never come across this before. I even did a search on google to see if it came up there, but I got nothing. Can you remember where you first heard this from monkeypunto? (or is it one of those things that you just know, and you can't remember how coz I get that a lot) :)
