guitar players

Yesterday i was watching Red Hot Chili Peppers live on MTV performing Danny California...now i know nothing of guitar playing but the 2 guitarists in the band (is it flea and chad ?!?) did their solo bits and i thought it was absolutely excellent ! Basically my question is in the guitar playing world are they any good or because i dont know anything am i easily impressed ?

as a guitarist i rate john as ok , flea is one of the best bass guitarists in the modern rock world.

John Frusciante is an ok guitarist, but should never ever sing ...check ot his solo stuff .....errmmm, actually ....don't!!!

Flea ... pretty good Bassist ... not a patch on Lemmy, or Mark King

I agree with sheffwed, Flea is rated as arguably the best bassist around, Frusciante is a competent guitarist, but nothing spectacular.
