Words to an old song
My grandfather used to sing a song to me of which I can only remember the following lyrics;
There was Brown, upside down,
Mopping up the whisky of the floor.
"Booze, booze, booze", the fireman cried
"Somebody's knocking at the door"
"Don't let them in, till its all mopped up"
So shouted Mr McIntyre
And they all got blue blind paralytic drunk
When the Old Dung Cow caught fire.
I don't suppose that anyone would know the rest of the song or the title?
With thanks.
