A song I need to know the name and artist of

I am trying to trace a song that i used to have on cassette but have now lost - problem is I do not know the name of the song or the artist! I know the first few lines of the song which are "Its a matter of fact my man no longer wants me, his words were clear he don't want me here, a lady like that a very hard act to follow..." Is anyone able to help??
