Never Be Lonely

It's been really bugging me that 'Never Be Lonely' by The Feeling sounds exactly like something else, but I can't put my finger on what. It's the verses in particular that sound like another (maybe 1980s?) pop song. I've heard someone say it sounds like Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer' and whilst that's true, that's not the one I'm thinking of.
