A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD - COLDPLAY, METEORA - LINKIN PARK, COMFORT IN SOUND - FEEDER, THE EMINEM SHOW -EMINEM. ELEPHANT - WHITE STRIPES, ESCAPOLOGY - ROBBIE WILLIAMS. Of course this is all down to personal taste, but Ive got all of these, and I recommend them all, especially Feeder and Coldplay. Hope that helps
Blimey, I can't be the only person you know who hates Radiohead, can I? One of us needs to get more ;-)
Decent music in the charts... well, it's all subjective, isn't it... I love the White Stripes' Elephant... the Yeah Yeah Yeahs: overrated... the new Blur LP has had decent reviews... also in the album charts is Norah Jones, but as for the singles chart... I'm feeling my age but I haardly recognise any of the names.. best stick to a compilation like 'Now That's What I call Music' which brings together loads of hit singles I reckon.

Re: Audioslave, er... *all three* of the muscians were in Rage and the singer is Chris Cornell, formerly of Soundgarden and it's a magnificent rock album - shades of Zep, Purple with modern stylings.
Gotta agree with Mkewith et al about the current singles charts, but then again, is it any wonder? You can't give value for money on your B-sides (unfair on people with no creativity or something), you go in at your highest position and then out the next week, if you've not got a major marketing campaign behind you, you don't chart... Sheesh! Okay, there's the odd surprise, such as the White Stripes, but then they've been declared the saviours of music by the alt press... All of which makes me think my method of paying naff all attention to the charts results in a more interesting record collection.
