a piece of software which i can edit or cut a certain piece of a song out and save it as a new file. i have an ipoid and itunes and several of my songs are over 7 or 8 minutes long and a lot of that just a long intro or talking. i know how to get the song to start playing at the right point i want, but i it still involves having the whole song on my ipod which takes up a lot of space. does anyone know how i can edit and just use the bit i want. thanks!

It's pretty easy and you can extract parts of a track, create fade-ins/fade-outs etc without too much trouble. I think the free version only lets you save your new file as a .wav file, but something like Windows Media can sort that out for you.
