iron maiden singer

can anyone tell me if iron maiden lead singer bruce dickinson's solo albums are anygood, are they like an iron maiden album?

I'm a big Maiden fan but I've never got round to listening to any of Bruce's solo albums. I've read in several music magazines that they were awful so never bought any on account of that.

I suppose the main writing force behind Maiden is Steve Harris and I don't think he's had any input in the Bruce Dickinson solo albums. There are probably a lot of tracks about sword fighting and flying planes.

tears of the dragon is a great song by bruce.its on the balls to picasso album.

got all bruces solo stuff. some very good a bit heavier than maiden, most ok, try tyranny of souls album, its proberly his best in my opinion
