AFI (A Fire Inside) formed in Ukiah, California, in 1991, when the original line-up met and formed the band in high school. Davey Havok (vocals), Marcus Stopholese (guitar), Vick (bass), and Adam Carson (drums), played locally and released an EP 'Behind The Times' before they went their separate ways to various colleges. A school reunion saw such a positive response, the band decided to make music their career, and their first album was 1997's 'Very Proud Of Ya' on Nitro Records. Two more albums followed - 'Black Sails In The Sunset', and last year's 'Art Of Drowning'.
The band toured England earlier this year, and are on tour in the US.
