recently i have been listening to kasbian, the fratellis, jet, the kooks, dirty pretty things, the automatic, snow patrol and loads more.
I have never been one of these people who stagnates with their music tastes.every now and then its good to dip into the oldies pile but i always move forward with my tastes.

I'm 39 and loved Gary Numan when I was 12 and saw him live loads of times also agree with your Jethro Tull Pink Floyd bit but maybe you have to open your mind a bit more the music scene is fantastic you seem to have missed 1985 The Smiths then the Manchester Scene then the britpop stuff and then all the fantastic bands that are coming through all the time - if you just listen to Radio 1 then you will hear Westlife though there is a place for them as well as other music as someone must buy it - Where was the Westlife best band in the work thing published that passed me by!
