Phil collins played drums and was (eventually) lead singer of genesis...

I am sure there are other drummers who are also lead singers..does any know of any?

not drummers that just do the odd backing vocal but actual lead singers...I am certain theres more

Dave Grolsh (really bad spelling on surname!) He was the drummer in Nirvanna and is the lead singer of the Foo Fighters.

Levon Helm of The Band. And Jellyfish's lead singer (whose name escapes me) was also the drummer. And I remember a metal band called Exciter (who I saw supporting the mighty Judas Priest in '83) had a singing drummer. Bloody awful they were too.
