In this film there is swing/soul song and the only lyric I can remember is 'I will be by your side' I'm sure it was out last year and was quite a big tune on the Trevor Nelson show. I have just listened to some limited demos off the soundtrack and can't find it for the life of me. I would be very surprised if anyone knew the asnwer to this question.

Sorry this took a while - it's called 'The Light' by Common. It does play in the movie, but it's not on the soundtrack album. You can find it on Common's 'Like Water for Chocolate' album.
