irish bands
whats the best irish band, i know u'll all say u2, but i dont rate them. i'd plump for the pogues, whadya think?

They have been internationally succesful since early 80s, have sold 100mln+ albums, sell out stadium gigs of 60,000 within minutes, had the higest grossing tour with Vertigo last year, are the most influential, Joshua Tree was rated #2 best album in recent Top 100 albums thing on telly, coolest (well wouldnt you like to spend a night in your local with Bono or The Edge?).....
Although best looking are The Corrs (apart from the hairy bloke)....

What's the difference between Zig and Zag, and Westlife? One lot are inanimate cloth-headed puppets from Ireland whose every move has to be determined for them by their puppetmasters, and the others...[insert obvious punchline here]. ;-)
