I am doing a biography music project for radio production on tom waits and i am trying to find a way to describe his voice.i have heard a few.it sounds "like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside and run over with a car".anyone have any descriptive and/or humourous thoughts on his vocal style???cheers everyone
