What did they call the name of a song where they would ask questions and then play a part of a song for the answer?

Could you be talking about Chris Hill's 1975 Christmas "classic", Renta Santa? This featured some bloke called Chris Hill (rather like a very, very poor man's Kenny Everett) carrying out spoof interviews, where he would ask a question (spoken) and the answer would be a clip from a hit song of the day. Example - he might ask "so what did Santa say to you then?" followed by The Stylistics singing "I can't give you anything..but my love". It was every bit as funny as it sounds. Ahem.

Tragically, he had a follow-up the next year, called Bionic Santa, but I don't really remember that one. Thank goodness.
