My i pod shuffle died the other day & as I'm broke at the moment I'm looking to buy one of the cheaper mp3 players. Can anybody recommend one please ?

Don't know much about MP3s but Curry' have a Matsui 2GB one at half price, now �24.99.

Thanks I've seen lots in that price range , I was wondering if anyone had actually bought one & liked it
what happened to the shuffle?

i heard apple do a pretty good repair service.

maybe if it was bought in the last year you could get a repair job done for a small cost?

when i tried to play it both the green & amber lights were flashing at the same time. It is about 18 months old .

Thanks it's sorted now, forgot to repost. I plugged it back into the computer just to see what happened & there were no songs on it. God only knows how that happened but as I say it's ok now.
