Bang into my soundtracks and scores, but am looking for new artists to add to collection.
Anyone know of any artists that use deep strings, with a touch of modern electronica (ESPosthumus, Craig Armstrong, Rob Dougan for example)
Ta in advance fellow music nuts

Massive Attack- particularly the 100th Window album.
Massive Attack sound like Craig Armstrong because he scores their orchestral pieces.

Try:

Mono

Cinematic Orchestra

Hybrid (dance & strings, hence the name)

DJ Shadow

Goldfrapp

Unkle (check out 'Lonely Souls')

Lamb (check out 'Gorecki')

BT

Angelo Badalamenti

Way Out West

Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in America)

St Etienne (you'd be surprised)
