On sunday some absolute s**t decided to break into my car and steal my CD changer. It was full of CD's which i'll have to buy again..... unless some kind soul is willing to sell them to me second hand or copied. I've looked on ebay, but no luck. I'm looking for two James Lavelle albums. The first is Fabric Live, the second is Global Underground in Barcelona (Limited edition 2 CD). Oh and if anyone's got Lamb's first album that'd be great too. They're quite rare albums and therefore expensive and hard to find, but can anyone help, or should i just give in and take my wallet to HMV?

Try looking on amazon, you could pick them up cheaper second hand (look for the 'buy used' option). You could always copy them and sell the originals on amazon or ebay again
The other option is of course WinMX or Kazaa.......I tried WinMX there for both titles and came up with loads of users (30ish) with the Barcelona disc and a few (6 or 8) with Fabric....as for the Lamb album I'm not sure as you didn't give a name but there was plenty of matches for that search so you should be able to get them this way......Godd Luck and I hope you find the scrote who pinched your gear.
thats way i dont keep original albums in my car
You can get the Lamb CD from Tower Records for 12ish http://uk.towerrecords.com/discography.asp?entry=L
amb
and also James Lavelle for 11ish http://uk.towerrecords.com/discography.asp?entry=J
ames+Lavelle
Next time copy the CDs and put the copy in the car!!!
You could also try musicstack.com, who have a huge database of sellers of rare and old CDs, as well as the more up to date stuff. I managed to find a song that I'd been searching for on WinMX for about three years with no hassle at all :), and it only cost me 3. Bargain!
Next time, consider buying a single Cd player that plays MP3 files. This way you can get around 200 tracks on 1 disc (probably at least 10 full albums...with that kind of space, who needs a CD changer?) They are hardly any dearer that normal incar cd players....Panasonic manufacture one that I've seen online for 99 plus p&p. For 140 you can get a Kenwood...which is wikkid! Sooo much more convenience with no extra expense. Good Luck
