His music isn't boring - in my opinion, it's been overplayed. His album as a whole was excellant for a debut album with some fantastic, thought provoking songs. Love the one about Jimmy Hendrix.

It is annoying when someone doesn't know the answer yet doesnt help in anyway in pointing you in the right direction. Why they don't just post there own question "James Blunt is he Booooring and does his music make you want to slit your wrist ?" - I've no idea ;~)
