Can anyone remember the song 'Stupid cupid' by JC001, it was a rap tune in the early eighties? I have looked for ages on Limewire but have never had a thing. It may be that i got it all wrong but i seem to remember him being the fastest rapper in the world at that time. Is there such a song, or did i go to bed and dream it. Also a Friend is trying to find a dance tune by Robert Marlow, he was around in the early eighties as well and was a friend of Vince Clarke, i have found a couple of tunes from Wikipedia but they are not what he is looking for, can you lot help, i am sure you can?

I auditioned for Robert Marlow back in the 80's ..any ideas what song you're after

A friend of his done him a mix tape way back when and all he knows is that is was by Robert Marlow and it was of the Electro genre. I have downloaded a couple of things but they are all rock orientated. He knows nothing else and he hasn't got the tape any more. Yeh i know it's a needle in a haystack.lol.

There's a really naff copy of a live gig somewhere (probably Southend) floating around on mp3. It's on Soulseek.

Weird seeing his name after so long, 'that lot' (Yazoo, Depeche Mode, Marlow etc ...etc ...) were mostly in the year above me at school ... I was best mates with Vinces Brother and used to spend a lot of time at his place.

We have new information, one of the lines in the song is; 'sorry he's dancing right now,' so it seems 'i just want to dance' maybe the tune we are looking for, can't find it anywhere, so i would appreciate it if you could upload it to me. Cheers.

Yipee, it was the correct one, phoned him and played him ' i just want to dance' over the phone and he says it's the one. Why in heavens name he would want it i don't know but he is always finding tunes for me, so it was nice to pay him back.
