Which bands will I like?

I am a child of the 80s and I like guitar bands. As well as Bon Jovi and Def leppard and ELO I love Green Day, think I like Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol (not very guitarish I know).
Would anyone with their finger on the pulse of modern music like to direct me to some more contemporary bands I might like? Come on, take pity on an old girl, I want some new sounds!...

You might like the new album by JET But Im a child of 70s and 80s rock and my attention span to music is either I've heard it all before or its horrible..The Automatic are pretty cool too.Live to Win the new cd from Paul Stanley ( KISS) is a good mix of 80s sounds and newer stuff too

hehe... Ill get Starsailor in as I have to recommend them to everyone. If you like the rockier side of things any song off On the Outside should do you. But I would recommend them all.

The Feeling are a great pop band and have been compared to ELO - why not try them ??
