did you do it through ticket master? I read that you can join for 53 then pre book your tickets? is that correct?? step dad's a huge fan you see! :o) x
not sure where we ordered the tickets, but we did have to join the fan club to get them...(my mrs ordered them)
theyre doing the "millennium stadium and twickenham rugby ground" so there should be tickets for sale.
the brum venue was selling fast !
:-)
Got two tickets from ticketmaster after becoming a member of the fan club 53
I got them thourgh the 'pre-sale' for fan club members which started one day early last week at 10am I only purchased mine 7-8am the following morning though so I do not know whether I really got good tickets or not. I may have just got the last pickings.
I hope they will be fairly good seats for the money. I am seated at the back of the flat floor area. Is that any good? I would of course like to have sat in one of the front few blocks a-c or even d-g. But I do not know how easy it would have been to get these even if I became a member and got the tickets first thing i.e. as soon as the 'presale' started 10am - could I have got seats right near the front?
we could be sitting in the same block...
im near the back, floor level !!
cant see any seat being a bad one.. the NIA is so small its a crazy venue !
:-)
I am in one of the back rows of Block J. I am saying one of the back rows because I think the rows only go from row 'A' in the front of the block to row 'N' in the back.
I dont really want to say exactly where because we don't know who's lisening lol
You tell me where about's you will be I will give you a wave.....'hello funkymoped !'
Yes it seems fairly small place I have looked at their website, you can see a virual tour of the place, have you been therefore??? The seats at the far back higher tier look a long way away. Hope they like heights lol.
Bring on sept 4th
by the way when did you buy your tickets then?? and did you chose or just get what you could get.
it's such a shame, my step dad simply didnt have the money to pay for the fan club, so he rang up as soon as the lines opened and they'd already sold out.. I hope you both have a brilliant time :D x
I had a feeling that would happen, so I thought it was worth the 53 to get the tickets early.
I phoned and went online to try and get tickets for a cinema in london once they were showing all the Star Wars movies one after the other and then showing the first ever public viewing of the most recent movie. There were loads of famous people and troops of people in genuine Star Wars costume.
But I could not get through on the phone and then they said sorry -sold out....ahhhhhhh I could have screamed.
funky: 5th sept isn't that how long the after show party lasts till lol
Did you get a look at the so called VIP tickets you could get it was an interesting read.
For 180 each you could get a seat in the front 24 rows or something and also a comemorative gift.
for 300 - 400 odd you could go to a meal/party before the show in a VIP area with a bottle of champine per person and other drinks and food free and then go to a VIP party after the show.
- But they never said anything about famous people or the band being at the party so you did have to think to yourself who was going.
im happy to just go see a "super group" on what must be their final ever tour.
i didnt read about the V.I.P. tickets and couldnt afford them even if i had wanted to !
could you ever imagine Sting mixing it with the local rif raf ????
:-)
