clown/circus music

What's the name of that music they always associate with clows and acrobats and things? It's usually used in cartoons and things. I can't really explain.. Oh well, any idea?

It's called 'Entry of the Gladiators' (assuming that's the music you mean!), but I can't remember offhand who wrote it.

There's one called "The Flying Trapeze", if that's the one you're thinking of. There are actually several common circus-y songs! Have you any more clues?

What ShelleyC has diddleiddled is Entry of the Gladiators. It's by Julius Fucik (1872 - 1916).
