can anyone tell me the name of two songs, one is set to the music of 'suicide is painless' and the second has the 'stranglers golden brown' as the basis.

I think the first one you mean is Kelis's 'Little Star' but, although it sounds a bit like it, it is NOT set to Suicide is Painless.

the second is Jamelia's 'No More'. She seems to have picked up a nasty habit of basing her songs on other songs.
