Ive just started seeing a stunning emo girl and i want to know what sort of music i should be talking about?? i said placebo and she looked like i vommited on her :O/ any help?

oh dear old chap. if you try to endear yourself to her by trying to bluff about a subject you know nothing about, then you're destined to crash and burn spectacularly. by far the better approach is to ask her about the music she likes, why she likes it so much and generally show interest in her and her interests. also talk to her about the music you like, why you like it, etc.

you may find some common ground, in which case great, or the only common ground you may find is that you both like (different) music for the same reasons.

or you may find no common ground on music at all, which is a setback, but not a killer. there are many other areas of life to share.

Taking back Sunday are brilliant any of their 3 albums are superb, you cant go wrong with them. Lostprophets are also quite good.

haha well you dont know someones interesting til you talk to them you have to be physically attracted to someone to chat them up and i dont normally go for the emo look.

My chemical Romance - I'm taking my emo daughter to see them next month. Their latest album is actually great, but reminds me more of Queen's "A Night At The Opera" than "Meat is Murder" I'm afraid...!
