The Real Thing.......It got to No1 in june '76 and was followed up by "Can't get by without you" No2 and they had 3 other top ten hits.

The band originate from Liverpool, and have enjoyed a large degree of success, based on the two hits mentioned, and a further hit - 'Can You Feel The Force' which caught the mood of the faster-paced disco music of the time. 'Can't Get By Without You' has been good to the band - a Number One on release, it charted Top Ten twice mnore with two different re-mixes. These days, the band appear often on 'nostalgia' package tours worldwide, and Chris Amoo, lead singer, is a champion dog breeder, having bred a Cruft's Champion.
