Keith Richards admitting to snorting father's ashes
Keith Richards has admitted to the NME magazine that he snorted his dad's ashes mixed in with a line of cocaine. He said that they 'went down very well'. Does it bother you that rockstars are allowed to get away with things like that? Do you think magazines be more responsible when publishing what musicians get up to?

I think NME should state clearly where they are poaching their material from, if you have seen i reported as being in the NME. Apparently he said it as a joke, but the interviewer made out he didnt think he was messing around. Its a case of he said, she said. Its not like he has been allowed to get away with it, it doesnt matter who was snorting ashes I would go urgh!
Depends what you mean by 'get away with'.
As far as I am aware, it is not illegal to snort ashes, although snorting cocaine is - but saying you have done something does not prove it. As in "I have slept with Kylie." Statement, in print, but (sadly) untrue - it's as easy as that.
Part of the myth of being a rock star is doing outrageous things, which includes windng up the media, which the Stones more or less started, and continue to this day.
