I was listening to Capital Gold's From the Bottom to the Top yesterday and I didn't hear them say who the song at number 20 was by or what it was called.
It has a Smith's feel (but it is not Morrisey) and includes the lyrics "Is that a smile that hangs under your nose?"
Can anyone help me find out who this is?

When in May 1990?
It's "Circlesquare" by the Wonderstuff.
Should say, it's on their singles collection "If the Beatles had read Hunter..."

Thanks for these answers. FPY That index link is really helpful.
Looks - Is the rest of their album as good? I wasn't really aware of them before (apart from Size of a Cow)?

That collection is the best place to start, Size of a Cow wouldn't be their most representative song. Circlesquare wouldn't be either! Definitely worth a listen.
