Does anyone know anything about the background to and meanings of the tracks, especially Elegia? Why did they decide to make it purely instrumental, etc?

They don't tend to talk about the meanings of their songs (though some are quite easy to work out) but it's generally assumed that Elegia is a tribute to Ian Curtis. As well as being instrumental, I think it's their only waltz (cue lots of people pointing out other waltzes I've forgotten about...)
