Sony NWA808 MP3 Music Transfer?

Can anyone please tell me if i can somehow tranfer my existing music tracks on my NWA3000 onto the new sony A808 device? Id hate to download all my track again. A guy in the SONY shop said you can something to do with updated software but didnt explain how to. I am currently using Sonic Stage 4.2 id like to find out before i decide to buy one. Thanks!
