transfer mini disc to CD

I can get my mini disc playing through my PC via Line In - Have installed MP3 PRO but can't get sound after i have recorded - I also can't seem to burn to CD - What am I doing wrong?

Start with the basics. Just because you can hear the minidisc playing through the line-in port doesn't mean you are recording it. Open the Sound card mixer (double-click the speaker in the system tray) and choose Options/Properties then click Recording and OK. Look for the Line-In slider and check that it is selected for recording and that the fader is up around 75%. See if that helps.
